ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR MAY 24, 2026
The next Men’s Breakfast will be held June 6th at Billy’s Restaurant located at 413 West State Street in Fremont.
We will have a float in the Bascom Memorial Day Parade on June 7th at 2:00 p.m. to promote our Vacation Bible School. Pastor Dean will be providing the invocation at the 1:15 p.m. ceremony at Sandridge Cemetery.
The decorating team has asked for assistance with coloring some items for VBS. These items can be picked up in the church narthex. Please have them returned to the church by June 7th. They can be colored with marker, crayon, colored pen, etc. Thank you!
We are in need of some items for VBS: empty spray bottles, one 3 X 3 cardboard mailing tube you won’t get back, one huge oversized goofy play sunglasses, one white twin sized bedsheet you won’t get back, and balloon pumps. If you can help out, please put these items in the church office. Thank you!
Reminder: we have moved our Ecumenical Vacation Bible School to the week of June 22 – 26 in order to not conflict with 4-H and to participate in an Ecumenical Celebration of Worship at our church on June 28th. Registration of kids and volunteers can be completed on our website, www.bascomchurch.com, or you can pick up a registration form outside the sanctuary and return it to the church office. The administrative board will next meet on Tuesday, June 9th at 6:00 p.m.
Danny Pelton has moved to Room 208 in Good Shepherd.

Pastor Dean will be on vacation from June 15-21. Nick Reinhard will be providing the message on Sunday, June 21.
