ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR DECEMBER 21, 2025

Our next Men’s Breakfast will be January 3rd at 9:00 a.m. at Frisch’s Big Boy. All men are invited to attend.

We continue our tradition of supporting a family for Christmas this year. Our family this year has three children under the age of six. Please return your selected ornament along with your purchased wrapped gift to the church today.

In addition to our Christmas family, we have identified another household that we can provide assistance to this Christmas season. In years past, we have provided support for Shawna and her grandchildren, and they could use some help again. We will be accepting basic non-perishable food donations on their behalf today.

A memorial celebration of Pastor Dave Culp’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025, at St. John’s UCC in Tiffin, Ohio. Visitation will take place today from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St. in Tiffin.

We will be having our Christmas Eve worship service this year at 4:00 p.m.

The church will be making Super Bowl Subs on Saturday, February 7th. Orders will be taken in January. Questions?? Please see Ron Lutz or call him at (419) 448-8675.

Our Sunday School Class will be led by Pastor Dean in December as we dive into the season with “Advent” by J.D. Greear (available on RightNow Media). In this study, we will be taking a deeper look at Jesus as “Emmanuel”; “Our Wonderful Counselor”; “The Everlasting Father” and “The Great I Am.”

As you see family and friends over the holiday season, we wanted to remind you that Vacation Bible School 2026 will have different dates this year than what we have done in the past. This year’s VBS will be held from June 22-26th. We will also be having a community churchwide blended service on Sunday, June 28th at our church to recap the week. Please mark your calendars!

If you would like to pick up a box of 2026 offering envelopes, you may do so in the lobby. If you do so, please record your name on the sheet by the number of the box you took. You may also just continue to use the envelopes in the pews if you don’t take a box. If you wish to make a Christmas offering to the church, the Christmas offering envelopes have been placed on the table outside the sanctuary.

If you would like to send a card to Don Asselin, his address is on our website and on the narthex bulletin board.

We will be taking down the Advent church decorations after our worship service on January 4th.
