ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR OCTOBER 4, 2026
Carolyn Thallman (419-618-8911) is seeking prayer warriors to join her in praying at local schools through the Keep Watch movement. Their goal is to see every school covered in prayer so that the power and presence of God are experienced in our communities. Volunteers will need to complete on-line training as well as submitting to a background check. We have been asked to provide snacks for at least one of the biweekly weekly Group Nights (attendance averages 15 people) for First Step Domestic Violence Services. Please see the flyer posted on the narthex bulletin board for additional information and let Pastor Dean know of your interest in either coordinating or participating in this outreach.
Pastor Dean & Danene’s niece Meagan Duff will be holding an in-person & virtual meeting in Zanesville, Ohio on October 10th for the Star Legacy Foundation. This foundation provides support and resources to families expecting a new baby or experiencing a pregnancy loss or neonatal death. Meagan lost her son Braxton ten years ago and has been searching for a way to help other families experiencing a similar loss. October-November newsletters are available online and at the back of the sanctuary today.
The Fall 2026 Fostoria-Bascom Prolife Newsletter has been placed on the narthex bulletin board.
We continue to attempt to create a church-wide list of everyone’s birthdays that are not on the Community Calendar to be used in the weekly bulletins. If you have not already done so, please fill out one of the cards at the entrance to the sanctuary. Please write the names and as well as the month and year of these important dates for yourself and your immediate family members. Please place the completed cards in the offering “church.” There are still a few regular attenders that haven’t turned in their dates, and we are getting close to compiling the list. Thank you!
The next administrative board meeting will be held Tuesday, October 13th at 6:00 p.m.
