ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SEPTEMBER 6, 2026

Next Sunday (September 13th) April Ramsey-Bertz will be providing our worship music and speaking to the Emmaus Walk experience.

Our Men’s Breakfast will be this coming Saturday (September 12th) at Billy’s Restaurant in Fremont.

The Fall 2026 Fostoria-Bascom Prolife Newsletter has been placed on the narthex bulletin board.

Please see the signup sheet on the Narthex bulletin board for our lawn maintenance schedule.
We continue to attempt to create a church-wide list of everyone’s birthdays that are not on the Community Calendar to be used in the weekly bulletins. If you have not already done so, please fill out one of the cards at the entrance to the sanctuary. Please write the names and as well as the month and year of these important dates for yourself and your immediate family members. Please place the completed cards in the offering “church.” Thank you!

Our church is required to replace two members on the administrative board at the beginning of 2027. This does not require a particular skillset but merely a devotion of some time and is an excellent way to serve your church. Everyone who attends is considered a member of our local congregation. If you have any questions or are interested in serving in this capacity, please let Pastor Dean or a current member of the board know. Current members are Bob Manz, Morgan Johnson, Shelby Lopez, Helen Emerine, Carol Reisner or Marcia Abbott.

We have recently become aware that we may not have a complete list of birthdays and anniversaries of our regular attenders. In an attempt to create a church-wide list of everyone’s birthdays to be used in the weekly bulletins, we’ve created cards for you to pick up at the entrance to the sanctuary. Please join Pastor Dean and the men of the church, for breakfast at Billy’s Restaurant in Fremont for our September get together (the 5th is Labor Day weekend).

JOYS:  Nikki Vitt received shots in her back and knee which have greatly reduced the pain levels; Ken Yambert fell earlier this week and although his eyebrow required a few stitches, he did not sustain any other injuries or a concussion; and we have a Heavenly Father that loves us, a Savior that redeems us, and the Holy Spirit that strengthens us.

CONCERNS: Maggie Powell’s cousin Kate Blessing has been diagnosed with appendix cancer at the age of 40 (note: she has two children Julianna [8th grader] & Ace [3 years old with non-verbal autism]; Adi Davis’s bronchoscopy test showed she has a couple strands of bacteria in her lungs including MSSA (a form of staph bacteria) inside her lungs that her medical team are now treating; Tim Heiserman’s revision hip replacement has been rescheduled for October 16th; Ed Smith’s latest hearing aids did not provide any improvement so he has scheduled a three-hour test in Perrysburg for possible cochlear implants this coming Thursday, September 10th; and Pam Dunson is scheduled for cataract replacement surgeries on September 14th & 21st and is currently working with her medical team due to high blood pressure that may be related to her mass cell activation.
