Our next Men’s Breakfast will be on March 7th at Fostoria Dell’s.

Please join us this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. for our Ecumenical Ash Wednesday service. The full Ecumenical schedule is shown below.

Mark your calendars for our church potluck on Sunday, March 8^th after our worship service. Juanita Yambert will be organizing the potluck.

Marcia Abbott will remain as our Administrative Board Chairperson for 2026. Thank you Marcia!

Our 2026 Ecumenical Lent worship schedule is:

• Ash Wednesday (February 18th) at 7:00 pm with Pastor Bob Greene providing the message at Bascom Community Church. Pastors Amy Kinney, Dean Durant, and Bob will all participate in the Imposition of Ashes for those wishing to receive them.
• We will be ecumenically celebrating Maundy (Holy) Thursday (April 2nd) at 7:00 pm with Pastor Dean providing the message at Hopewell Church of God. This service includes a Hand Washing Service for those who wish to participate.
• We gather at 2:00 pm on Good Friday (April 3rd) with a Tenebrae service at St. John’s UCC, concluding with an open table sharing of the elements of Holy Communion.

Thank you to Ron Lutz for heading up the Sub Making project once again! Thanks also to all who braved the cold to come out and help with sub assembly Saturday morning.

As we were making subs yesterday, our next Men’s Breakfast will be this coming Saturday, February 14th, at GW’s Fine Foods in Tiffin. Our March breakfast will be on the 7th at Fostoria Dell’s.

Our next Administrative Board meeting is this coming Tuesday, February 10th at 6:00 p.m. Board members are Marcia Abbott (Acting Chair), Bob Manz, Shelby Lopez, Morgan Johnson, Carol Reisner, and Helen Emerine. During our first meeting we will need to nominate and approve the Chairperson for 2026.

Due to our “Super Sub” Fundraiser, we will be having our monthly breakfast on the second Saturday in February instead of the first. Please join Pastor Dean and the men of the church at GW’s Fine Food in Tiffin @ 9:00 a.m.

JOYS: Memphis Depinet’s nighttime breathing has improved to the point where it is no longer being monitored; Crystal Hester’s procedure to insert a second intracranial shunt went well Wednesday and she is recovering; we had a great time making our Souper Bowl Soups yesterday morning ; and we have a Heavenly Father that loves us, a Savior that redeems us, and the Holy Spirit that strengthens us.

CONCERNS: Tim Heiserman continues to work with his medical teams on the treatment plan for the muscle and ligament tears in his right replacement hip as well as for cancer on his left ear;  Judy Prosser is scheduled for scans this coming Tuesday to determine if she has any cancer in addition to her pelvic bone cancer (which will be receiving five radiation treatments in Findlay); the family of June Marie (Piper) Painter, H/L Class of 1955, who passed away on February 1st; Janet Main is back home after being hospitalized for a couple of days due to complications from high blood pressure; Ann Zimmerman’s esophagoscopy has been rescheduled for March 6th; and Marge Reinhard (Nick’s grandmother) is currently undergoing rehabilitation treatment at The Willows at Tiffin; and Bruce Kreh has two female cousins (Sandy & Kris) who are undergoing treatment for a brain tumor and ovarian cancer.
