We will be having the annual Bascom Garage Sales lunch stand on April 24-25th. Please see Marcia Abbott if you would like to make a financial donation to this fundraiser. Please see the signup sheet on the narthex bulletin board for suggested food/beverage contributions. Happy Helpers on that Friday and Saturday are also much appreciated.

Pastor Dean will be on vacation this coming week. Rev. Mike Denman will be providing the message with Pam Dunson leading worship on Sunday, April 26th. Pastor Bob Greene (419-512-7588) will be providing pastoral care support.

Reminder: we are still forming our Capital Funds Campaign to replace the depleted funds from our 2018 “Raise the Roof” campaign. Please see Pastor Dean or any board member (Marcia Abbott, Lori Clay, Helen Emerine, Morgan Johnson, Shelby Lopez, Bob Manz, Carol Reisner) to express your desire to join the team.

Addresses are on the bulletin board for those we are showering with cards to let them know that we are thinking of them.

Reminder: we have moved our Ecumenical Vacation Bible School to the week of June 22 – 26 with an Ecumenical Celebration of Worship at our church on June 28th. Registration of kids and volunteers can be completed on our website, www.bascomchurch.com. Please see Lori Clay or Nick Reinhard if you have any questions.

Please join Pastor Dean and the men of the church, for breakfast at The American Table in Fostoria on May 2nd @ 9 a.m. We will be traveling to Billy’s Restaurant in Fremont for our June 6th breakfast.

JOYS: Tom & Jane Rex welcomed their latest great-grandson Lucky Alan McGown on April 11th; George Miller’s spinal bone lesion appears to be benign with no restrictions being placed upon him; Juanita Yambert’s left wrist carpal tunnel surgery went well this past Monday and she has undergoing physical therapy prior to being scheduled for a right shoulder replacement; Cole Coppus became engaged on Saturday, April 4th; Adi (Davis) was released from Blanchard Valley Hospital but continues to struggle with a reoccurring fever; Janet Thallman has received multiple congregational visitors at her new residence at The Willows at Tiffin (Room 514); and we have a Heavenly Father that loves us, a Savior that redeems us, and the Holy Spirit that strengthens us.

CONCERNS:  Carolyn Thallman will be having her cataracts replacement surgery this Wednesday (April 15th) with the other cataract scheduled for replacement on April 22nd; and the family of Joe Sexton who passed away April 13th.
