ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR APRIL 12, 2026

Our bi-monthly (April) Administrative Board meeting will be held this Tuesday, April 14th at 6:00 pm.

We will be having the annual Bascom Garage Sales lunch stand on April 24-25th. Please see Marcia Abbott if you would like to make a financial donation to this fundraiser. Please see the signup sheet on the narthex bulletin board for suggested food/beverage contributions. Happy Helpers on that Friday and Saturday are also much appreciated.

Pastor Dean will be on vacation from April 20-26th. Rev. Mike Denman will be providing the message with Pam Dunson leading worship on Sunday, April 26th.

Reminder: we are still forming our Capital Funds Campaign to replace the depleted funds from our 2018 “Raise the Roof” campaign. Please see Pastor Dean or any board member (Marcia Abbott, Lori Clay, Helen Emerine, Morgan Johnson, Shelby Lopez, Bob Manz, Carol Reisner) to express your desire to join the team.

Addresses are on the bulletin board for those we are showering with cards to let them know that we are thinking of them.

Reminder: we have moved our Ecumenical Vacation Bible School to the week of June 22 – 26 with an Ecumenical Celebration of Worship at our church on June 28th. Registration of kids and volunteers can be completed on our website, www.bascomchurch.com. Please see Lori Clay or Nick Reinhard if you have any questions.

As the first weekend of April is Easter weekend, we have moved our monthly breakfast to the second week of the month. Please join Pastor Dean and the men of the church, for breakfast at the Tiffin Frisch’s @ 9 a.m.

JOYS:  Cole Coppus became engaged on Saturday, April 4th; Adi (Davis) was released from Blanchard Valley Hospital this past Sunday evening; Pastor Dean on coming home from the hospital as his sight continues to improve in his left eye; time spent with friends & family celebrating Easter; and we have a Heavenly Father that loves us, a Savior that redeems us, and the Holy Spirit that strengthens us.

CONCERNS: Janet Thallman moved to The Willows at Tiffin on Friday for a fourteen-day trial period (Room 214); Carolyn Thallman will be having her cataracts replaced on April 15th and 22nd; and Juanita Yambert has been scheduled for carpal tunnel surgery for her left wrist on April 14th, plus her right shoulder MRI revealed that replacement is necessary with surgery to be scheduled after her wrist has healed.
