ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR JANUARY 11, 2026

The church will be making Super Bowl Subs on Saturday, February 7^th, weather permitting. Order forms, due Sunday, January 25^th, are located on the table in the hall across from the sanctuary. A sign-up sheet for workers is located on the narthex bulletin board. Questions see Ron Lutz (419) 448-8675.

As we will be making subs on the first Saturday in February, our next Men’s Breakfast will be February 14^th at GW’s Fine Foods in Tiffin. Our March breakfast will be on the 7^th at Fostoria Dell’s.

Don Asselin has been transferred to the Shepherd Wing at Good Shepherd Home.

Our administrative board will meet next on Tuesday, February 10^th at 6:00 p.m.

Pastor Dean began leading a ten-week study on apologetics (the defense or proof of Christianity using rational logic) today with an introduction. Please consider joining our 9:30 Sunday School class Why you may ask??

Apologetics is crucial for defending the Christian faith, engaging with skeptics, and providing a rational basis for belief, fostering deeper understanding and dialogue within and outside the faith community.

PREVIEW: Dr. Chad Ragsdale, academic dean and New Testament faculty at Ozark Christian College, will help answer our questions about faith, truth, and suffering. This RightNow Media study will help us wrestle with hard questions and learn to effectively communicate and engage with our culture.

If you would like to pick up a box of 2026 offering envelopes, you may do so in the lobby. If you do so, please record your name on the sheet by the number of the box you took. You may also just continue to use the envelopes in the pews if you don’t take a box.

We will be taking down the Advent church decorations today after our worship service.

2026 Norman Rockwell Calendars are available in the narthex compliments of Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home.

Due to our “Super Sub” Fundraiser, we will be having our monthly breakfast on the second Saturday in February instead of the first. Please join Pastor Dean and the men of the church at GW’s Fine Food in Tiffin @ 9:00 a.m.

JOYS: Tim Heiserman had a successful procedure for a urinary track issue on Friday and is at home recuperating (want to send a card: 4575 South State Route 53, Tiffin, OH 448830); Sutton Linn Price has been released from ongoing care at Nationwide Children’s Hospital; and we have a Heavenly Father that loves us, a Savior that redeems us, and the Holy Spirit that strengthens us.

CONCERNS: Judy Prosser had a full body scan on January 2nd with the consultation to take place on January 7th (mass on her spine); the entire Smith family (Ed, Karin, Leah, Austin) currently are all dealing with severe congestion and head colds; Crystal Hester (formerly Helberg) had another shunt procedure this past week to relieve her cranial pressure; Mark, Ann, and Lori Zimmerman are all sick; and Carol Reisner has been scheduled for a stress test and echocardiogram on January 22nd.
