Next Sunday we will have our Mother’s Day Recognition during worship service.

The administrative board will next meet on Tuesday, June 9th at 6:00 p.m.

Reminder: we are still forming our Capital Funds Campaign to replace the depleted funds from our 2018 “Raise the Roof” campaign. Please see Pastor Dean or any board member (Marcia Abbott, Lori Clay, Helen Emerine, Morgan Johnson, Shelby Lopez, Bob Manz, Carol Reisner) to express your desire to join the team.

Addresses are on the bulletin board for those we are showering with cards to let them know that we are thinking of them.

Reminder: we have moved our Ecumenical Vacation Bible School to the week of June 22 – 26 with an Ecumenical Celebration of Worship at our church on June 28th. Registration of kids and volunteers can be completed on our website, www.bascomchurch.com. Please see Lori Clay or Nick Reinhard if you have any questions.

Pastor Dean will be on vacation from Monday April 20th through Sunday, April 26th. Pastor Bob Greene (419-512-7588) of Hopewell Church of God will be providing pastoral care support during Pastor Dean’s vacation this coming week. Please note that Reverend Mike Denman will be providing the message on the 26th.

Please join Pastor Dean and the men of the church, for breakfast at The American Table in Fostoria on May 2nd @ 9 a.m. We will be traveling to Billy’s Restaurant in Fremont for our June 6th breakfast.

JOYS: Tom & Jane Rex welcomed their latest great-grandson Lucky Alan McGown on April 11th; George Miller’s spinal bone lesion appears to be benign with no restrictions being placed upon him; Juanita Yambert’s left wrist carpal tunnel surgery went well this past Monday and currently is pain-free as she undergoes physical therapy prior to being scheduled for a right shoulder replacement; and we have a Heavenly Father that loves us, a Savior that redeems us, and the Holy Spirit that strengthens us.

CONCERNS:  Carolyn Thallman had one cataract replaced this past Wednesday with the second scheduled for replacement surgery this coming Wednesday (April 22nd).
